Entercom + CBS Radio Merger
Sales Enablement | Marketing Campaigns | Web Development
Objective
Redefine Entercom’s brand positioning, modernize its visual identity, and establish it as a dominant media and entertainment company following its acquisition of CBS Radio.
Strategy
The strategy was to integrate two major brands and revitalize the perception of radio as a powerful marketing platform. This was accomplished with a full corporate rebrand and market positioning, website development, industry advocacy, and marketing campaigns. My focus included the following elements.
Sales Materials: Partnered with leaders across 235 stations and 47 regional U.S. markets to develop localized marketing materials and narratives supporting overarching go-to-market strategy.
Website Development: Led the production of Entercom.com, ensuring seamless integration of CBS Radio and Entercom brands. The site served multiple stakeholders, including advertisers, investors, employees, and job seekers.
Industry Advocacy & Marketing Campaigns: Launched the first-ever radio industry advocacy campaign, “A Marketer’s Guide to Radio,” and a “Let’s Be Upfront” campaign targeting TV media buyers during the TV Upfronts.
